2018 Recruiting Ranking: 16th

5 Year Recruiting Average: 11.8

2017 Record: 7-6 (4-4)

Jimbo Fisher begins his first SEC season with two QBs who have real game experience. Kellen Mond started 8 games last season, while Nick Starkel started 4 games. Starkel finished the season as the starter in the bowl game, where he put up 499 yards which is the second most in Aggie history. There is talk about this competition going on into the fall, but it should be Starkel in the end. Thankfully, for Jimbo, they return RB Trayveon Williams who was a 1000 yard rusher two seasons ago. Jimbo is bringing back two positions that have not been around College Station for a bit, Tight-end and Fullback. To fill those two positions, they have a few converted players, walk-ons, and transfers. With the amount of talent stockpiled, Jimbo will have a prolific offense in no time.

2018 brings about a new defense at A&M too. Jimbo hired Mike Elko away from Notre Dame. Elko brings with him a 4-2-5 defense built on speed and pressure. Elko turned Notre Dame into a legitimate defense, ranking 31st in scoring and 46th in yards. His defense also generated a positive turnover margin. With 7 returning starters, including the team’s top sacker, defense should be well improved in 2018.

Special Teams:

A&M returns their kicker from 2017. 18-21 on the year with two of those misses being 50+ yard attempts. Kicking game should be good. Punter is new, but was decent in the spring game.

Baller’s Call:

A&M plays at Alabama and hosts Clemson, in the first four games. In October, three straight away SEC games. Extremely tough schedule. Jimbo gets everything humming by the end of the year though.

2018 Prediction: 8-4 (5-3)

It's not opinion to state that having communist (I.e. Voting for a communist) sympathy is a disqualification for a clearance, a clearance needed to hold a position in the executive branch of government during the 80s.

I don’t think you watched any of our games. Addazio took an NFL offense and wrecked it. We barely scraped by extremely inferior teams. Warning signs were there all year long. If you see a little kid playing with fire, you don’t just assume they won’t burn themselves until they do.
