Ranking every team in college basketball from 1-351

They seem weird to me but interesting how he comes up with his rankings:

"Halfway between a pure rating system and a pollster's (greatly) expanded top-25 ballot, you'll encounter something like these rankings. They're the product of a lively and occasionally contentious conversation between yours truly and my laptop.

I start by rounding up the usual modeling suspects, namely, how good was the team last season and who's back from that roster. I make due allowance, where applicable, for sensational incoming freshmen. Lastly, I tweak as I see fit, allowing for things like transfers, aberrantly good or bad 3-point luck on offense or defense last season, coaching changes, etc."

The tide has it all this year, heavy inside back breakers, reliable wing shooters, great athlethicism at small and big forward and Hollywood at point and Hollywood at wing and some quality depth

If the tide can gel early, gets lucky with no significant injuries, I say we KY a run for their money.  This team is the kind too with the youth and talent that can take the SEC tourney..

I think the tide gets in the big dance between 5th and 7th seed

First time in years we got big men. Got shooters and plenty of them. 6’11” and 7’0” is a new luxury. Ky gonna have to tighten the Velcro on those shoes.

Took him a few seasons, but looks like he's finally got a solid team from top to bottom.

Ky gonna have to break out the KY...

It’s that ass this year. Plenty of teams aiming at them. Will cal actually have to coach this year? He has had it too easy for too long.

The money we send a lot of these places are to help people or buy off officials. Either way, places that take our money are more likely to do the U.S. bidding.  Mexico needs to be propped up right now. Hell they have came pretty close to being a failed government a few times in recent years. They don't have the income to buy a wall, and if they were to fail as a government the amount of illegal immigrants will be way worse.

You ain't wrong. But they're already an enemy on many fronts. Corrupt, bankrupt, and unwilling to stem the flow of drugs and criminals across our border. $$$ speak more loudly than diplomacy. Who's gonna prop them up if we reduce our world-welfare footprint?

There is a lot bridge burning around the world going on these days. I would not make an enemy of a neighbor.
