But am I wrong?

Haha yes, I never skip leg day.

I only lift weights because I'm vain, so I don't even do squats or lunges.

No my legs are the easiest for me to grow.

I do leg press, reverse lunges on a smith machine, extensions, curls, and deadlifts.

Comparatively, I have a smaller chest.

I’m still here and seeing the results I wanted. I am not looking to get swoll but to see strength return and that is happening. I have slowly upped weight and reps. I can control a handgun better again and am building handgrip and arm strength back slowly. My calfs growing out of proportion and I am getting meat back on my shins abit.

The best improvement has been stamina on the range. I can make that 200 yard walk with gear all day again without complaining and I can run a 3 hour handgun session again.

my biggest issue is diet. Because of my migratory arthritic gout I already have a highly limited diet I barely follow so eating right just isn’t in the cards. I do a high bread and starch diet with chicken as the main protein. Not because of a diet but chicken doesn’t flair my gout and meat, potatoes and bread are part of every meal in the south. I hate rabbit food.

I jump out of bed every morning.

I can neither jump nor run with these knees. I am up to a comfortable walk which is huge at this point.

I have a history or ankle issues and found that my old warm weather boots helped the strain on them. That led to no more ankle pain walking first thing in the morning. So I ordered a pair of Bates and Propper boots so I can rotate out daily. The army gets knocked for a lot (and rightly so) but they figured out how to save your feet and ankles just right. Rotate shoes, wear good socks and your feet will hold up better.

PR week is halfway over. Week has been successful but not as successful as I would have liked.

Bench: Old PR - 270. New PR - 285 Failed at 300

Deadlift: Old PR - 450. New PR - 470. Failed at 500 - then 480.

forget routines and diets.

the key to a good workout is the right equipment:

first you need to clear a little space in the back corner of your closet. this is where youll store item two:

a small duffel bag just big enough for a pair of socks, jock strap, musty cologne, and two VHS tapes. the tapes should have been recorded in EP mode so that they contain 6 hours each of low grade porno.

oh yah, your gonna need a VCR, preferrably one with good tracking so you dont have watch boobs through the squibbs.

once you get all this set up, youll love "going to the gym" every day.

Let me guess; you have 11 inch biceps on the left arm and 26 inch biceps on the right?

Doc told me no more workouts today. Seems my knees are too far gone for the stress. In fact he recommended I stop work and apply for disability. Not going to do that but it sucks having really bad joints. My back is fine but ankles, feet, knees, and fingers are in almost constant pain.

Also will never tell you it's got a headache when you get a few beers in you and decide to throw some meat in it...   I bought a Kamado knockoff a few years ago and love it. My egg didn't survive the move back to Mississippi and I just couldn't pull the trigger on another. For big grillin and smoking I built my own out of an old propane tank cut down by 1/3rd. Can do about ten Boston butts at a time. Smoked a half-dozen and pulled them for the fire dept and ems this past Wednesday. Did 24 half chickens at once last fall. Drawback is it takes a pile of charcoal to get it hot and keep it going.

Been way too long but we finally got a 5* commitment. Obviously a long way to go but hopefully we can hold on to him. This class really could end up being something special. https://southcarolina.rivals.com/news/five-star-defensive-end-zacch-pickens-commits-to-gamecocks   The state's top overall prospect decided not to wait. Originally planning to make his decision towards the end of his senior season, Anderson (S.C.) T.L. Hanna class of 2019 five-star defensive end  Zacch Pickens  committed to South Carolina Friday, according to sources at his spring game.   It was a team recruiting effort from the Gamecocks as head coach Will Muschamp, defensive line coach Lance Thompson, defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson and linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler all had a strong role in landing the nation's No. 16 overall prospect. Pickens was last on South Carolina's campus earlier this spring for a cookout event. Pickens, considered the No. 3 strongside defensive end in the country by Rivals, chooses South Carolina over offers from Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and West Forest.  It was believed throughout the process that Clemson and Georgia were the two other top contenders. Pickens is the 12th commitment to Carolina's 2019 class.       This commitment bumps us up to #8 for the time being.

Go back and read the article and it’s obvious. McCain can summon congress to work on a bipartisan healthcare bill? How long has he had to work on it? And what did he do, cast his vote to spit in the face of the bill he and republicans had all that time to work on. He can pass tax reform to create jobs? That’s already been done. He can continue his leadership on immigration reform and global warming? Just lol. Just admit that McCain spoke out against Trump on some issues so now he’s a hero to you when you wouldn’t have given him a second thought otherwise.
