BA

3 posts in this topic

Watched BA again last night. He looked really good. I know he was playing against the 3rd and 4th string but he wasn't just throwing it around and getting lucky, he was making reads, check down throws and even checking to the right play when presented with the RPO presnap.

If the Jags take a chance on him and the fan base is patient enough, after all they have wen through with Bortles, BA might just have a shot in Jax.

He's got plenty of shot. Once he gets comfortable he will either start there or somewhere else. That will be determined next year. They will play him plenty this year and depending on which qb is the "it" for them they will trade the other. Jags need players bad. Personally I see bortles traded next year. Good qbs are hard to find and even an average qb can bring extra draft picks

That team really is set up pretty nice to succeed. They have talent at the skill positions and watching the first team last night, it seemed their only true issue was Bortles. Well, and run blocking. Their run blocking wasn't very good at all, either that or the Bucs are going to have a stout rush defense this year.
