Here's your official game thread for discussion and predictions on Week 1's matchup on August 30th with UT Martin (0-0, 0-0) at Kentucky (0-0, 0-0). There is no line for this game (at least that I could find).

UT-Martin better be careful. This is one of those sleeper teams on their schedule. Uk could sneak up and give UT a close game. I believe in the end though UT will pull it out before getting into the difficult part of their FCS schedule.

 I could help it. UK 41-UT 14

Brett Favre's nephew Dylan is the QB for UT-Martin. Fun fact.

I expect the cats to be able to play everybody....except Drew Barker, who needs to keep his redshirt option. I'd love to see 70 + points on the board, but will be happy with a W and the offense running about 80 plays. Need to get this offense running on all cylinders before SEC slate.

You hit the nail on the head. Number of offensive plays needs to increase dramatically this season.

Working our way there. Don't have the depth or skill at WR to fully implement it yet. RBs are actually going to be a strong suit of ours. Plus we're trying to land Damien Harris. ...Gotta show him why he should come to Lexington.

Towles needs to show he's worthy of being the starter. Our qb play has absolutely sucked the past 2 years

Only a handful of those guys were going to see minutes. Look at the transfer destinations. I think a better statement is hard to believe there was that much dead weight.
