WLOCP the most important game for UF & Muschamp?

52 posts in this topic

It is according to ESPN.

I was a student at UGA and at Spurrier's 1st game as a coach in JAX.

At the end of the game, the UF section burst out into "It's great to beat the iaBdfkZ.png out of Georgia..."

Over and over again. And the streak began.

Ray Gump had no answer to the evil genius's coaching prowess; even when we had "better" teams.

So what do you say Gators?

Who do you want to beat more? US or the Criminoles???

Every game is important after last year. I'd like to go ahead and stop the UGA 3-game streak; but it'd be a helluva lot sweeter knocking FSU out of their 2nd straight NC game if we could.

Maybe we'll be able to get our cake and eat it too this year.

I think we're gonna beat UGA anyway, so a victory over the Noles would be super sweet.

Definitely the most important game on the schedule.

As it is almost every year.

I'd say it definitely is....and the worse UF's record is the more important it is. I expect f$u to be really good again, so that would be more excusable than losing to UGA( and for the 3rd straight year no less). That one game could let Muschamp end the streak, reclaim bragging rights, and finish 2nd in the East(possibly 1st if a ton falls into place right).

As impossible as it seems, it would be the 4th straight loss to UGA, if it were to occur.

If Florida drops the WLOCP ro Georgia again, Muschamp's toast.

Florida fans as a whole, do not have a lot of patience and Muschamp is really trying the ones that do.

Doesn't seem impossible at all, get used to it

Its the most important game for both teams generally. This year may be a little different, AU MAY be our most important game. Now which would I rather win? UF without a doubt

Probably a lucky thing for both the Dawgs and the Noles. :D

What makes me the most mad is that there is now no feeling of dread for UGA players.

We have pissed away our psychological advantage in that game.

We used to win whether we were garbage and UGA was elite or not.

Hell, Zook went 2-1 against some of Richt's better teams.

Ron Zook kept Georgia from playing for a National Championship.

Let us beat them and see what happens

You know, for science

Just for the academic aspect of things.

Didn't realize the streak was up to 3 games

well a streak can only start at 2 I guess...so "up to 3" doesn't seem like the right way to put it. Just my 2 cents

The streak lives on. Ill have to update my sign from

Richt : 3

Muschamp: 0

to

Richt: 4

Muschamp: 0

So the Florida Times Union can print it again.

I didn't realize Georgia had beaten Florida three consecutive seasons.

Take a glance at the poster my wife made....helps me remember.

Just like GU said, and it may sound like coach speak. Every game is important for Muschamp this season, he has to prove he can keep Florida at their winning level.

If you're apart of the longest/greatest conference NC winning streak with two of em, the winning level is still more recent than 1980.

I agree. 1980 is a LONG time ago ! And it is what keeps me for considering my beloved BULLDOGS from being at an elite level. We are good & at times look great. But elite comes with some dominance. I have not seen that yet

I can safely say it is impossible for a QB to have a sluggish start vs. Georgia right now

No one with a family and common sense want trump to destroy this country....

Something that bothered me was Lester Holt being Hillary's personal fact checker and attempting to correct Trump consistently. He didn't jump on her for lying when she denied saying TPP is the gold standard of trade deals. It is plain as day that she said it, and relatively recently.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpLQzeCoNnA&app=desktop

So now we'll move on to LSU and Tennessee.

LSU is the only Power 5 team in a state with a tiny population compared to Texas.  LSU and Bama made out like bandits by bringing in A&M.  And to show how autonomous LSU is, wasn't their recent change decided at ULL game?   Houston?  A serious multi-year threat?  With their pack 45,000 seat stadium and limited funds?   They flash every few decades. They won't keep TH that long.   tu?  Can't compete with the SEC brand.  TCU and Baylor?  Self-destruct at least once per 20 years.
