Shoo. I was worried a UK fan made this thread.

Gotta love Les. Every off season, he finds something to bitch about.

Les is a little salty probably. The heats on his tail these days. Think about it: Alabama, LSU's biggest rival has won three NCs since LSU won their last one. Auburn has won one and played for two. UF has won one. He's lost 3 in a row verses Saban now and dropped one to OM last season and a UGA team that flopped toward the end, and should have dropped one to Arkansas.

LSU is stagnant under him now while their two biggest rivals, Auburn and Bama continue to get it done. LSU is ok with beating up on teams like MSU and Arkansas and a down UF squad, but they won't be forever.

It it wasnt for us, LSU would be elite and Les Miles would be Nick Saban. They have crazy talent, we just always get in the way.

Yup. That offense they put on the field in 2011 was pitiful

This year's will be just as bad or worse. If Bama can get a QB, the West will be decided in the state of Alabama again this season.

Spurrier really does bring the laughs to the SEC, all these other coaches can't come close. Usually truth too.

Saban welcomes the challenges, a tougher schedule(inB4 HUNH). Les complains. What a puss.

what is this challenge you speak of because Alabama has had some pretty soft schedules lately...

How it it soft? Would you like to trade schedules with us? If we're not playing a top-10 team then people dont think we're playing anyone. Comes with being the best program in college football I guess...

Les Miles is getting pretty bad with all of this...

He almost whines as much as Nick Saban now.

No matter what you do you get criticized. Might as well do what you want. I love being a fan of The Alabama Crimson Tide. Life is sweet. ^_^

outside of lsu, auburn, atm, which are never played back to back, you have hardly played any of the good east teams, and your ooc is a joke!

2012 we played LSU then A&M the next week. Probably had an impact on losing to the aggies. Just being in the west makes our schedule harder than any team in the east

From top to bottom, it's not as big of a disparity as you think between the East and West anymore IMO. For example, in head-to-head competition last year, the West was only 2 games better than the East (8-6). And in 2012, it was even between the East and West in head-to-head competition (7-7). That's a big difference in what it was several years ago (things have tightened up between the East and West).

It was 15-3 in 2010 when each East team played three West teams (before adding Missouri and Texas A&M). That was embarrassing for the East that the East only had 3 wins vs. the West out of 18 games.

But who are those west teams that they played? Georgia vs. LSU was the only big win the east had over west last year.

By definition of the SEC scheduling, every West team played an East team twice.

Possibly Missouri over A&M could be considered a pretty big win. There weren't many big wins for the West either other than Auburn over Missouri and possibly Auburn over UGA.

Usually the top teams win in each Division. That's why I said from top to bottom. I do admit that the West has had the dominant team in both divisions over the last several years (the SECCG results prove that over the last 4 years).

Given the number of talented players at Alabama, Saban is no longer filling needs. It's more like Alabama is stockpiling talent just to prevent them from playing elsewhere.

I like it. There is so much competition to get on the field, it makes everyone hungry.

Can you imagine the negative recruiting that everyone else uses....

Do you really want to play on Alabama's scout team?
