Anderson Lifts Mizzou to Extra-Inning Win

1 post in this topic

Fifth-year senior Eric Anderson (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) provided the heroics for Mizzou (20-24), driving in two runs in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings and scoring on his own triple with an error in the 11th, giving the Tigers a 6-5 extra-inning win over SEMO (29-15) on Tuesday (April 29) at Taylor Stadium. It was Anderson's first career walk-off hit. Fellow senior Dillon Everett (Phoenix, Ariz.) launched a homer in the fourth, the second of his career. Dylan Kelly (Roswell, Ga.) and Ryan Howard (St. Charles, Mo.) also drove in runs in the contest, Kelly with his 10th two-out RBI of the season, good for the team lead. Kendall Keeton (Columbia, Tenn.) tallied three hits.

UT had a lot of dropped balls yesterday and still beat our asses anyway.

Yeah I wouldn't be too confident on that, it's still a rivalry and you know how those go. If Georgia's WRs can actually catch a ball, they'll have more scores. Eason put it on them consistently.

If you want to laugh look at our 2013 class, it's largely why we have been terrible for 2 years. It was a bad class with laughable attrition. Richt recruited way too many reaches/projects at OL and whiffed on all the good instate receivers outside of MM/TGod.   UGA is very lacking at OL/WR/DB, and lacks depth at DL/LB/OL. Obviously our kicking game is the pits, we literally cannot make 30 yard field goals

Everyone has less talent on D than Bama, that's not saying much honestly.   But don't kid yourself, Richt had some good classes for defense. As you said, it's the skill positions lacking mostly, with OL

Georgia is not a good football team. Not "running it through" Georgia would be a disappointment. They're a team we should be able to beat by 3 scores. Course, knowing us this year, we'll come out and have to make another comeback if we want to win.
