Dates to mark for us

Clemson

USC

Strength of schedule isn't too bad this year.

Love that UF gets Bama and LSU within 3 weeks of each other. Lol

When will UGA play Bama in season again?

I have no idea dude. I wanna say 2016.

Once every four years. didnt happen in 2012 because of the expansion. Played Mizzou instead. 2016 is my guess.

The rotation is going to take longer, will be once over 6 years if the current pattern holds (8 games, 1 vs permanent cross division + 1 year rotations between the other 6 teams) It will be 12 years between times when you see the same team at your home stadium. I think eventually they switch to 9 games and if it still 14 teams then you cut that in half.

I see everyone has the second bye week again. That's probably good for my marriage.

Seems legit.

They should have played them this time around.

We've played Bama 3 times in 5 years now.

I can only assume the SEC wanted as many marquee matchups as possible, so that ruled out Georgia.

Watching Bama slaughter UF is better for ratings.

It just seems like we play Auburn or LSU with Bama every year and UGA and VAndy get to scrape the bottom of the bowl for some reason.

It looks funny to see UGA get a pass in conference year after year.

Exactly my point.

Much better than Bama slaughtering that also-ran school that never wins anything important.

SEC tried to help 'em out, but UGA couldn't capitalize.

Last time bama played uf was a rout. Last time they played Uga was an instant classic.

That game in Manhattan will be interesting.

The schedule after our second bye is a murderer's row. South Carolina, Ole Miss, TAMU, UGA and Bama with only one break in between them with Samford near the end.

Vandy has 4 ooc layups and UK. That's 5 assumed wins. Lord help them if the cup cakes upset them. 5-7 at best. 4-8 most likely for Vandy.

2014 Vanderbilt Schedule

Aug. 28: Temple (Nashville) Win

Sept. 6: Ole Miss (Nashville) Toss up

Sept. 13: UMass (Nashville) Win

Sept. 20: South Carolina (Nashville) Loss

Sept. 27: at Kentucky (Lexington) Win

Oct. 4: at Georgia (Athens) Loss

Oct. 11: Charleston Southern (Nashville) Win

Oct. 25: at Missouri (Columbia) Loss

Nov. 1: Old Dominion (Nashville) Win

Nov. 8: Florida (Nashville) Loss

Nov. 22: at Mississippi State (Starkville) Toss up

Nov. 29: Tennessee (Nashville)Toss up

I see 5 likely wins and 4 likely losses

Win one toss up and the 'Dores get a bowl

FWIW, they don't have anybody on the schedule that is out of the realm of reasonable possibility to beat - MO), UGA, SC & UF are all question marks going into 2014 with UGA very likely to be the consensus pick to win the East

Jordan Matthews and blind good fortune are both gone from the Vandy sideline. They are and have been a 4\5 win team that got lucky.
