JUST ENROLLED AT ALABAMA:

Cameron Robinson OT (6-6/320) West Monroe, LA - CamRob is the cream of this crop. He is a consensus 5-star and generally regarded as the top offensive linemen in the country. He has a very good shot at being a starter in 2014 - even if that means displacing a returning starter.

Tony Brown CB (6-0/182) Beaumont, TX (Ozen) - Brown is a fantastic athlete who excels at both man and zone coverage. He should see early playing time. This 5-star is ranked as the #1 player in the Lone Star state (Troll Tide!). BTW, when there were reports that Saban was in Texas in December, this is why.

David Cornwell QB (6-5/235) Norman, OK - Could this be the quarterback of the future? There hasn't

been this much excitement around an incoming QB since... well, AJ McCarron. He moves very well for a player of his size and shows good feet in the pocket. He has a very strong arm and already has shown leadership skills in his recruiting of others.

Laurence Jones S (6-2/210) Monroe, LA (Neville) - Committed and then de-committed, Jones is back on board with the Tide. He is a physical safety who hits like a linebacker. He has good instincts and great ball skills. Look for him to excel in blitzing, something that seemed lacking in 2013.

Cameron Sims WR (6-4/208) Monroe, LA (Ouachita Parish) - Yes, you read that right. Sims is a 6-4 receiver and runs like a deer. His long frame allows him to stretch the field and catch the ball in traffic. He had 3 catches in the Under Armour All-America Game for 49 yards.

Shaun Dion Hamilton LB (6-0/241) Montgomery, AL (Carver) - Hamilton has great cover skills for a young man of his size. He is smart in the classroom (3.65 GPA) and it translates to the football field.

D.J. Pettway DE (6-3/255) East Mississippi C.C. (Signed LOI) - Whatever side of the fence you are on with Pettway returning to the team, know that he will be a big help to the defensive line rotation. He led EMCC to the Junior College national championship with 47 total tackles, 11 1/2 sacks, seven tackles for loss and a forced fumble this fall.

Jarran Reed DT (6-4/305) East Mississippi C.C. (Signed LOI) - Pettway's partner on the EMCC defensive line had 66 tackles (41 solo, 25 assists) and 3.5 sacks in the championship campaign.

Looks like some immediate help in some areas of need. This Saban guy might just know what he's doing.

Somebody should give him another raise.

Not sure about the " hasn't been this much excitement around an incoming QB since... well, AJ McCarron"....Bama fans were flipping out when the Tide landed Phillip Sims.

That being said, it's downright unfair to be able to raid LA, take the top player out of the state of TX, AND pull a 4* QB from Norman.

I wonder how badly Kiffin will screw these players up?

No trash talk in the Alabama forum, only warning.

Interior linemen, good ones and a rotation of them seems to be the key to stopping that Delaware Wing T offense.

I haven't said anything that Bama fans themselves haven't said, so I'm not sure if I'd agree that what I said qualifies as trash talk... It was honestly a legitimate question. Are the Kiffin skeptics worried at all? I feel like they should be a bit, especially if there are any power struggles between Kiffin and Saban.

It's not up for debate, you have your warning. Your intentions were clear with your post and you never discuss a topic, only flame. Stay on the OP or be banned from the thread, you can go discuss Kiffin negatively in the designated trash talk thread.

For example, you don't see me in the Auburn recruiting thread discussing anything but Auburn recruiting. Thank you.

Well it's obvious who would win that power struggle, but it could hurt team morale and effectiveness for sure. No doubt Kiffin will have a pretty deadly system in place for Cornwell, who may well start this year if y'all's other QB's don't impress, but I'd be worried about "The process" being interrupted a bit by his presence.

I guess a post about Alabama's coaches has absolutely nothing to do with a thread about Alabama bringing in talented players, huh? 'Cause we all know that talented players are all you need. You don't need to have the right coaches. Coaches can NEVER negatively affect talented players in a negative way!! That's why Auburn was so good in 2012 with a team comprised of multiple top ten classes.

My bad, coaches have absolutely nothing to do with discussions concerning talented players coming into a program. I don't know why I had such a crazy lapse.

Banned from thread, won't have the petty trash talk bs in every thread.

Back to discussing these players early enrollment.

Honestly Kiffin has has ran a pro-style offense in every place, even his own at Tennessee. So I can only presume the hurry up will come from a pro-style feel.

I can't help but think the Kiffin hire did have something to do with our QB situation. AJ was a great one probably the best ever at Bama but we've got some talent down there now and coming in like we've never really had. QB's just as highly talented and recruited like the RB's and WR's we have.

Kiffin already runs the pro style but I'm sure has some ideas to get super stars like Cooper the ball more with an elite type passer. He made Marquis Lee a first round draft pick with a team on probation nowhere near as talented as Bama.
