So around Pearl Miss? I have a Browning David Fritts cranking stick I like alright. I just wondered if you'd jumped on the newest thing... I'm still throwing Castaways and All Stars myself I'd rather put my money in the reels.

About 15 min away. I walked into bass pro with zero intentions of buying a fiberglass. Just a spur of the moment buy.

They still got all those bars on Sam down there? I fished there years ago in a BFL before I got tired of throwing money away.

Welp, ended my deer season without harvesting a single deer. Mostly due to the fact I only went like 4-5 times.

I've been spending way too much time/money duck hunting. We hunted Mahannah WMA in the delta on Saturday. Only shot a few spoonies and pintail. Hardly saw any mallards. Been a very disappointing season for us in the south delta, unless you have access to a jam-up hole.

Did have a nice little limit of gadwall and woodies on my work camp along the Pearl River a few weeks ago. Hope to get 1-2 good hunts in this weekend, as well.

Got whipped this year deer hunting as well. Passed up a young buck hoping it would come back another day so my son could shoot it but he never showed. There's always next season. Now my attention is towards hogs, squirrels, and rabbits.

deer hunting becomes easy once you break the ice. shoot a doe asap then worry about waiting on a buck. duck hunting has been hit and miss. I have not gone much but if you hunting in front of or as a front came in you hit the mallards right. slow year for me. too many things going on. deer hunted twice. got two deer. duck hunted 3 times got the limit only once.

I believe we are gonna try to hit the hogs heavy here in February. We got some exterminatin' to do.

I ended up getting three a pretty nice Buck and two big ole does. Got a lilttle meat in the freezer and some jerky made although my boys eat it fast as you make it.

I've never duck hunted probably get on a squirrel trip or two and break out the fishing rods. Actually I fished more than hunted this year between work and sports I couldn't get away long enough to enjoy it.

Around 80-100 lbs. Also dropped one that's smaller that will be going in the smoker once he's finished in my brine. Super Bowl Sunday will be a blast fellas!

I took a vacation day yesterday and went crappie fishing. They're not on the bank yet here but can still pickup a limit pretty easy.

Rabbit taste too much like squirrel. I don't like squirrel. My Mama cooked a dozen squirrel after my first hunt. It was also my last hunt.

Me and the boy been slayin the does. Gonna fill the freezer then hit the honey holes to hunt horns. Killed a big hog Sat too.

Weather seems to have got some smaller bucks up and moving round here the last couple weeks. Hope that continues right on in to rifle season.

Also will never tell you it's got a headache when you get a few beers in you and decide to throw some meat in it...   I bought a Kamado knockoff a few years ago and love it. My egg didn't survive the move back to Mississippi and I just couldn't pull the trigger on another. For big grillin and smoking I built my own out of an old propane tank cut down by 1/3rd. Can do about ten Boston butts at a time. Smoked a half-dozen and pulled them for the fire dept and ems this past Wednesday. Did 24 half chickens at once last fall. Drawback is it takes a pile of charcoal to get it hot and keep it going.

Been way too long but we finally got a 5* commitment. Obviously a long way to go but hopefully we can hold on to him. This class really could end up being something special. https://southcarolina.rivals.com/news/five-star-defensive-end-zacch-pickens-commits-to-gamecocks   The state's top overall prospect decided not to wait. Originally planning to make his decision towards the end of his senior season, Anderson (S.C.) T.L. Hanna class of 2019 five-star defensive end  Zacch Pickens  committed to South Carolina Friday, according to sources at his spring game.   It was a team recruiting effort from the Gamecocks as head coach Will Muschamp, defensive line coach Lance Thompson, defensive coordinator Travaris Robinson and linebackers coach Coleman Hutzler all had a strong role in landing the nation's No. 16 overall prospect. Pickens was last on South Carolina's campus earlier this spring for a cookout event. Pickens, considered the No. 3 strongside defensive end in the country by Rivals, chooses South Carolina over offers from Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, Georgia, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and West Forest.  It was believed throughout the process that Clemson and Georgia were the two other top contenders. Pickens is the 12th commitment to Carolina's 2019 class.       This commitment bumps us up to #8 for the time being.

Go back and read the article and it’s obvious. McCain can summon congress to work on a bipartisan healthcare bill? How long has he had to work on it? And what did he do, cast his vote to spit in the face of the bill he and republicans had all that time to work on. He can pass tax reform to create jobs? That’s already been done. He can continue his leadership on immigration reform and global warming? Just lol. Just admit that McCain spoke out against Trump on some issues so now he’s a hero to you when you wouldn’t have given him a second thought otherwise.
