I'm predicting that Jalen will gut it out, fighing for the starting position/playing time and if after this season, the writing is on the wall, then he will consider changing positions..............I just don't see him transferring

I don't know why he wouldn't be interested in changing positions. I'm sure like every other guy he wants to get in the league. He definitely won't playing QB but he could be a game changer doing something like Drake is doing for the Dolphins.

The single wing is the best way to play two QBs in the same backfield.

You can't tell if the QB, the slot or the halfback is the passer?

It's time to think outside the box...

The schizophrenic Alabama basketball team showed their best side on Saturday night, totally dominating 15th-ranked Tennessee by a score of 78-50. The win was the Tide’s fifth straight win over a ranked opponent.

Before the ball is snapped, Tua constantly scans the right side of the field almost like staring down the receiver and by doing so he pulls the safety to the hashline with his eyes.  He never looks left until he's ready to throw and then snap his head to the left for the throw.

If anyone can find camera shot from the end zone, you can watch Tua's eyes...

Notre Dame will be forced to erase 21 wins from the 2012 and 2013 seasons, most notably the undefeated 12-0 regular season in 2012. The reflected changes drop Notre Dame's all-time winning percentage from .729 to .727 and the all-time win total from 906 to 885.

The aforementioned .727 all-time winning percentage remains second nationally, behind only Michigan (.729). Notre Dame's national standing in total wins drops from second to sixth, behind Michigan (943), Texas (898), Ohio State (898), Nebraska (893) and Alabama (891).

Six years ago...what do they do at the NCAA? Do they drop a case on someone's desk and say, "whenever you feel like it open up this file, oh but finish that donut, coffee, and that 48 month new car note and let us know what you find."

Nick Saban never ceases to amaze. It was a longshot that he could find an upgrade to the departing Karl Dunbar at defensive line coach this late in the coaching carousel but he managed to reach out and pluck the best in the business. Kuligowski spent 24 seasons alongside Gary Pinkel at Toledo and Mizzou. While with the Tigers, he developed several underrated prospects and turned them into top draft picks. Among them:

  • Charles Harris – 2 star, 1st rd NFL draft pick
  • Shane Ray – 3 star, 1st rd
  • Aldon Smith – 3 star, 1st rd
  • Ziggy Hood – 3 star, 1st rd
  • Markus Golden – 3 star juco, 2nd rd
  • Kony Ealy – 4 star, 2nd rd

Kuligowski parted ways with Missouri after Barry Odom took over for Pinkel, sending him to Miami to work with Mark Richt the last two seasons.

Months later, Hurts sucked it up and held up his end of the bargain -- but not before delivering a blow to Barkley and the Auburn family. In a video posted on Twitter, Hurts picks up an Alabama gym bag that holds the national championship trophy the Crimson Tide claimed by beating Georgia in the College Football Playoff title game.

Hurts flashes a wry smile and says, "Roll Tide."

It was his way of having the last laugh.

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa injures thumb on throwing hand in spring practice opener

This is not exactly the most optimal way to open the spring for Nick Saban and Alabama.

Shortly before seven p.m. ET this evening, grad transfer quarterback Gardner Minshew, who originally committed to play his last season of college football at Alabama, announced on Twitter that he will instead move on to Washington State.  Not long after that, after the Crimson Tide had completed their first practice of the spring, Saban confirmed that Tua Tagovailoa sustained an injury to the thumb on his right (throwing) hand.  Specifically how he sustained the injury wasn’t clear.

The rising sophomore will be taken to Birmingham for further evaluation; just how long he’ll be sidelined remains to be seen.

Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa hurt his thumb in practice and will be taken to Birmingham to be evaluated. "Probably going to require some time for him to get back. I'm not going to speculate on what the injury might be," Nick Saban said. http://www.espn.com/espn/now?nowId=21-40018112-4

Sources literally coming out right this second saying it’s a broken bone, probably fracture. Out six weeks and missing remainder of spring drills. Hit his hand on a helmet.

The rumored marriage of Butch Jones and Nick Saban became a reality on Tuesday when Saban confirmed that the former Tennessee coach is now an official member of the Alabama coaching staff.

"He's a intern, an analyst. I guess we can have several names for it," Saban said, according to 247Sports. "He can't coach on the field; he can work with us off the field. And today was actually the first time that he was cleared by the NCAA."

I agree. Which is why if Pruitt acts like he did at UGA Fulmer may end up giving him the boot. You guys just need to do what you can to bring Fulmer back.

Given the comments of David Pollack and Aaron Murray at SEC Media Days, I was wondering if any Dawg fans can shed some light on exactly how Jeremy Pruitt was disrespectful to Mark Richt during his stint at UGA as the DC? Jeremy grew up about half an hour down highway 75 from me. He's always had a reputation as a passionate, fiery guy. I'm just curious for details on what exactly went wrong during his time at UGA.
